Have you ever complained about the plain jane look of Jakob Nielsen's useit.com and used it as an excuse to avoid accessibility and valid coding?
Here's your chance to try redesigning that site to a more visually pleasing level:

No one says it will be used for anything, but might be an interesting exercise. I know I could use some practice in that direction. How about you?

Posted by farron at August 17, 2003 02:28 PMAs IF! I can't even get time to fix my own sites... shaking head.
That's it.. SNAP! I'm going to run a contest too:
Farron, redesign my Blog and Business Site and I'll give you a great big fat web winner graphic! "-)
ps - the link is a nasty one for NN 4, it's missing a referenced CSS file. I think the guy running that contest better add his own site to it. snicker

How about it now? I removed the offending CSS ref.
Posted by: Bob at August 17, 2003 06:54 PMOops! Hi Bob. hahaha. I just had to razz Farron a bit because of our ongoing battle to build forward-thinking CSS controlled sites yet remain compatible for our clients stuck in NN 4x.
Yep, the link works fine in Netscape now. Thanks! :-)
